PS.  Forgot to attach the following very interesting article from this months Wired Magazine.   It suggests we could all be in mean, lean shape like Rick very soon..!  http://www.wired.com/playbook/2013/02/ff-cold-weight-loss ;

March 7 misty morning

Relay style this am, as I went for a jet lag wake-up swim and met TK and the Gimp as they were coming out - lobster red.   Nice chat, but as the wind started to break I headed for the water.  A very peaceful solo in the pond, the only noise the flapping engines of the ducks taking off from their runway 5.

The Gimp, Impi, No Boundaries, and The Windmill in at 0730 this morning.  The Swimmer had an 0830 dip.

The Board said 5C - think it was a little warmer.

A picture's in the folder.  Board said 5C at 1330 this afternoon.  Water seemed warmer.  Spring is sprung.  I think we're over the winter swimming hump!

A picture of "No Boundaries" and "The Windmill" enjoying the last day of February and the first day of what seems like Spring in the eponymous photo folder. The Board said 2C/35F - might be a little warmer (but not much!).

Clocking in as our oldest participant and, I think, our coldest virgin dip, Elizabeth's Dad, John Kenyon at 77 years and 2C has lived to tell the tale to his friends back in Texas and prove that old dogs can live still on the edge!!
